Global Studies Portfolio

About Me

Im Owen West, Born in New York City but now currently  residing in CT. I am a member of the Global Studies program at Watkinson School. I initially joined because I wanted to learn more about global topics and history but only weeks into my Junior year of the program I realized that there was much more I could take away from it. Personally, I enjoy cooking and skiing. However cooking is my true passion and I plan on going to culinary school for college and hopefully do what I love for the rest of my life. I also love to travel and have been doing so since a very young age. Both cooking and traveling have helped shape my interest in cultures around the world, My capstone project focuses more on this.
